Day 5 - Stockholm, the shortest day

We woke up at 2pm which felt pretty good (and probably set us back on the whole overcoming jetlag thing). After lounging about and watching some Swedish TV, we left the hostel in time to see the sun rapidly vanishing.

Breakfast/Lunch/snack all rolled into one at the nearby cafe. Sooo groggy.

But we did make it to part of the posh neighborhood Li had pointed out on her Stockholm napkins a few nights before! Took the path by the water on the way back to T-Centralen and saw some boats parked by the curb.

And more sculptural things. This is Sergels Torg with its 37 meter tall glass/steel obelisk, near the Kulturhuset (a gathering place kind of like Paris' Centre Pomidou).

Then it was back to the home-base station to meet the guys for dinner.

But first, a quick stop to find some salty licorice! I love grocery stores. So many interesting boxes and wrappers.

We pizza'd it for dinner. Look how motivated Neil was! Like greased lightning!
